It’s a very different Ma Murray Awards this year! We are disappointed that we are not getting together in person at the River Rock for this year’s Ma Murray Awards Gala, but we still want to celebrate and we know that you do too!

Set up a Zoom call with your colleagues and watch together from the comfort of your own homes on Saturday, April 25 at 7:00pm. Hosts Jay Durant and Tara Jean Stevens will announce this year’s winners from their own physically-distanced locations, and together apart, let’s all toast and celebrate the best of the best.

The Ma Murray Awards are an opportunity to recognize the achievements of the association’s 95 member newspapers in British Columbia and Yukon and we are so proud of the work you all produce.

 

 

Also, the BCYCNA Silent Auction has been postponed for this year. We will be reaching out to all auction donors (or to the papers who secured the donations) to request that, where possible, prizes be carried over to 2021.
